Environmental Policy

Corprotex is committed to minimizing our environmental impact through a pro-active and responsible approach to the design and manufacture of our products and the operation of our facilities. We work to continually improve our performance in preventing pollution and reducing our carbon footprint.

We meet with regulatory and other environmental requirements to which we subscribe and strive to exceed these whenever possible.
Protecting the wearer should include protecting the environment, which is why the notion of sustainability is at the heart of our activities. Sustainability is about achieving a balance between growing the business, preserving the environment and a sense of social fairness.

As a company we recognize the need to care for the environment and preserve our natural resources. We are also committed to providing a high standard of corporate clothing solution throughout the UK. Striking the right balance between these interests is what we as a company are all about.

In 2007 Corprotex teamed up with Manchester United as part of the Envirowise supply chain programme to reduce environmental impact. As uniform supplier to Manchester United football Club we are extremely proud of this partnership, to improve environmental performance and reduce unnecessary waste. Paul Smith, Managing Director of Corprotex, states;

“By working together with Manchester United, in conjunction with the Envirowise project, we will be able identify specific actions to improve performance. Waste management is an especially important issue for us, and we are therefore keen to look for ways to address our environmental impact in this area."
