Our response to the environment

Corprotex is committed to minimizing our environmental impact through an active and responsible approach to the design and manufacture of our products and operation of our facilities. We work to continually improve our performance in preventing pollution.
We will meet regulatory and other requirements to which we subscribe and strive to exceed these requirements whenever possible.

Protecting the wearer should include protecting the environment - which is why the notion of sustainability is at the heart of our activities. Sustainability is about achieving a balance between growing the business, preserving the environment and a sense of social fairness.

What do we mean by this?
As a company we are concerned not only with making profits by providing people with the right products they will use and value; we also recognize the need to care for the environment and preserve our natural resources.
Striking the right balance between these interests is what we as a company are all about.

In 2007 Corprotex teamed up with Manchester United as part of the Envirowise supply chain programme to reduce environmental impact. As uniform supplier to Manchester United football Club we are extremely proud of this partnership to improve environmental performance and reduce unnecessary waste. Paul Smith, Corprotex’s Managing Director says, “By working together with Manchester United, in conjunction with the Envirowise project, we will be able identify specific actions to improve performance. Waste management is an especially important issue for us, and we are therefore keen to look for ways to address our environmental impact in this area.
